It’s a sad rainy Monday here in California. A new work week is ahead of all of us. There is only one saving grace… our cute little sneezing friends from Sneezies by Antair Games and Chillingo.

Sneezies (On Sale $0.99; Free)
Developed by Antair Games and published by Chillingo, this game is probably one of Chillingo’s finest titles yet. The game is not for the faint of heart and for those that have jobs or go to school beware. These cute little fur balls (as we call them) are addicting as heck that Antair Games and Chillingo may be getting some complaints from us for getting us fired. Kidding aside, the game achieves two things: unique gameplay and fun that keeps you coming back for more.
Sneezing Powder Sprinkles God We’re Addicted!
Well before we go into detail have a look at their handy instruction screen. It is one page but it simple and direct, and it’s pretty much all you need to succeed in this game:

As shown above, you simply strategically tap anywhere on the screen where you can pop the most fur balls you can. There is no time limit BUT you’ll find yourself very frustrated and anxious as you wait for your chain reaction to complete and see if you accomplished your target. In a way it’s like a Tower Defense game, during the waves, all you can do is to wait until the wave is over. It is pretty much the same way with Sneezies… only that you start to become hysterical when it goes down to the last 5 pops and you fall short off target.
Classic or Challenge? Either Way It’s Extremely Fun

Sneezies comes in two modes: Classic or Challenge. Both modes provide the same hillarity these fur balls come with. The only difference is that in Challenge you are given 5 sneezing powder versus one in Classic mode. As you progress in Challenge mode, the target becomes higher and higher. As with both modes, usually the fur balls start big and then get smaller towards harder levels.

Notice the text on the screenshot above. For every time you free 25% of the fur balls, more fur balls come back for you to pop. When you pop 50%, they’ll come back double the amount they started with and for 75% you get an extra tap/sneezing powder. As for Classic mode, it’s simple. You get one sneezing powder and you try to accomplish your goal with that one tap. As you advance, the target comes closer to the given fur balls. We imagine that at the very last level, you are expected to pop all 100 of the 100 fur balls given ;p.
Great Graphics and Sounds
As you can see from the screens above, the game’s design is a sweetheart. We don’t know if you can really see it but the fur balls faces go through a series of animation. From while they’re inside the bubble to their glee of freedom to the fun of falling down in parachutes. The sounds weren’t a let down either as you can hear these little baby sneezies everytime they pop. The background changes from time to time and you go through different seasons. The animation when you fail is also the cutest thing. Leaves or snow or whatever season your in wipes all the fur balls far far away /sadface. They also candy coat OMG YOU SUCK to “Oh! Not Quite, Sorry!” like they’re afraid you’re going to eat them if they tell you the sad truth.

We consider it inhumane if you don’t have this game. Why don’t you try the Lite version out for yourself? For the incredible $0.99 on sale price, you’d be nuts to not jump in on this. We may sound patronizing this little game but trust us, play it even for ONE level and you’d ooze with excitement just as we do. We mean really… the furballs even greet you a happy Valentines’ Day!
