Surely evidenced by Numba and Mouse About, this Cobra Mobile game is fun and polished.

Zombie Chav Hunt ($0.99)

For the very cheap price, you should grab this pick and play game of shooting aliens who bleed green goo (LOL). There is nothing really special regarding the game except you see a LOT of plaid, decent gameplay and a fully polished design overall.

Design

Judging from the game’s opening, we figured we’d see great graphics (yet again) from Cobra Mobile (and a whole lot of plaids):

The in game graphics are well rendered and the cartoonish design gives the game a campy feeling:

Gameplay

The gameplay is simple. You choose from three guns:

Your view focus changes with the gun you choose. Sometimes the aliens get marked with a cross, sometimes it’s just a red laser pointer.You start off with a full view of the street where the aliens cross…

Tapping anywhere on the screen zooms you in to that location then you can start shooting.

Scores are based on accuracy and how many aliens you shoot. The birds can be shot as well for b0nus points.

Suggestion

We think a career mode is what the game is lacking. It’s a pick and play game, and you shoot for the highest score. However, we feel that with what Cobra Mobile has built with Zombie Chav is much more than that.

Maybe this is their goal from the beginning but adding a career mode should broaden the appeal of the game.

Overall, at $0.99 you can never go wrong. It’s still one of the better $0.99 games out there.
