iDracula has a new competitor, and it comes with a heroine armed with cup sized you know what!
7Days Apocalypse ($1.99)
7Days Apocalypse is yet another survival game centered around zombies. The main differences being that 7DA actually comes with both back and first person camera views, and a goal oriented mode on top of the survival mode. Not to be ignored is the well blessed heroine that’s supposed to protect Dr. Cupper (yes you read that right) against the undead.
7Days Apocalyspe elevates itself against the competition by having two camera views. The regular back camera view:
And the game changing first person view:
The views are conveniently interchangeable by tapping the pause button and selecting the view of your choosing.
The controls are fairly easy to be picked up. Left dpad is for moving your player while the right is for shooting and rotating.
Aside from the usual survival mode found in this kind of games, 7DA also comes with a History mode in which you need to accomplish 7 goal oriented levels (or days as StormBASIC likes to call it) to finish it:
The mission for day 3 is to protect Dr Cupper and lead her back to the haunted house:
You need to stick with her and protect her by shooting all attacking zombies. You can read up on all the Day mission descriptions here.
Different weapons can also be picked up later in the game such as plasma and chainsaws:
- Global Scoring
- More enemy types
- Add more worlds/locations
- Save last entered name for high scores so we don’t have to key it in manually everytime.
The game is another must have (sad to say ;p). Otherwise, we wouldn’t have covered it. If you get tired of the male iDracula hero, why not try the beautiful and blessed 7Days Apocalypse character? The suggestions above are really for improvements of an already great game. $1.99 really goes a long way with this game. You won’t feel cheated.
