Bolt Creative, the masterminds behind Pocket God, has finally graced us with another installment of their weekly updates.

This week’s feature of choice? Pocket God’s arguably first mini game with Ooga Jump!

Grand Switcheroo!

Remember when Doodle Jump borrowed some Pocket God images for one of its updates. Well I think it’s payback time now that Pocket God technically drew this update’s inspiration from Doodle Jump.

Activating Ooga Jump

From either the original or dinosaur island, lift any of your pygmies up to the blue skies. You’ll then see one layer of clouds. Let go and let the pygmy bounce off the cloud, from here the game starts.

Ooga jump is accelerometer controlled by the way. Once bouncing, you can’t employ any other feature. The goal is to reach the highest you can of course.

Power Ups And Enemies

As with any game in this genre, power ups are a must! This version includes one power up (fire) and two enemies (disappearing cloud and ice cube).

Seen above, fire gives you a jolt in your jump to propel you higher. This is activated through hitting a thundering cloud. Meanwhile, the ice cube (activated when a raining cloud is hit) reduces your jump lateral.

Though certainly not a full pledged Jumping game, Ooga Jump is an EXCELLENT addition to what was originally considered just a “toy”.

Among its other mini games including how much you can shit on a pygmy and how much you can bounce coconuts off their heads, Ooga Jump in our minds is Pocket God’s FIRST full featured mini game.
