If I called HOMERUN BATTLE 3D the “fanciest pick and play game evarr”, Com2Us stripped the fancy and made this game downright action packed!

Sniper Vs Sniper: Online ($4.99)
Let me just say it outfront: Sniper Vs Sniper is Com2Us‘ next online gaming sensation. HOMERUN BATTLE 3D is so perfect for the iPhone all Com2Us had to was think of another theme to apply the controls to, and man did they nail this one!?!
Presentation
The presentation is a lot darker compared to HOMERUN which is the obvious choice anyway. There are far more black and silver sprites in the design. The snipers, blood animations and overall presentation gel well together.

The level backgrounds are very different from each other and are all well wendered. They’re also authentic photos which Com2Us was able to blur on some areas to create a completely “zoomed in effect”. What a nice touch!

The only thing I’m not a big fan of is how the civilians look. They’re literally word art graphics which I thought were a little tacky. It’s bearable and I’m just too picky. Ha!
Controls
The game is accelerometer controlled and is very stable with default settings just like HOMERUN is. This is really the section Com2Us can nail the most. On screen, you get a full view button, binocular mode, and sniper’s view mode. To fire, all you do is tap the fire button.

For online 1vs1, you even get a voice command button. How’s that for innovation?
Gameplay
Sniper Vs Sniper slams you with an inescapable Training Field level to begin with. You HAVE F 663RT6 E to get yourself through this. I really appreciate the strong stance the game has taken for you to REALLY learn the controls.

Once you’re done with that, each map is divided into 3 modes: campaign (shoot every sniper), 1 vs 1 (play against a known sniper, outkill him) and special mission (different per map). After you’ve selected the correct option, you are then briefed on the map which sets off a unit deployment angle. Neat!

Either you play online or single missions, the goal in the game is to shoot other people before they kill you. You need to glance through every window pane and location as quick as possible, switch to sniper view then shoot.

If you get shot, you either die immediately or lose a certain amount of points depending on how good of a sniper you’re shooter is: headshot, body hit etc. On some cases, the game even tells you a buffered area of where to look for your opponent.

Finally, I’d like to commend the online mode and how it even has voice commands for 1vs1 battles, chat system and an overall smooth implementation. In case you didn’t know, lots of games fall through with online mode.
Suggestions
I don’t believe there’s a duck mode. It might be a developer decision to make the game harder and for quicker plays, but I feel the game’s asking for one.
On scoring mode, I think shooting civilians should make a counter effect on your score. The game also require more maps and an achievement/ unlockables system for new and better guns or even accessories.
Conclusion
I can run on and on and on about the good things Sniper vs Sniper come with, but I think (or at least hope) you got my point. At $4.99 F MJ7TAY E this is considered a premium game (against iPhone games standard), but trust me, this is very well worth it.

See HOMERUN BATTLE 3D wasn’t a broken horse to begin with and with a whole new skin and gameplay variations, Sniper Vs Sniper is an instant must buy. The game already beats other games as is, but still, there is a great room for more improvement to completely boost itself waaaaaaay past other iPhone games even more.
Did I say BUY IT already?
