Exactly three weeks ago, Entertainment Weekly broke the news for Rock Band iPhone as well as kicking off their weekly feature: App of the Week! We’ll retro-cover the other two apps they’ve featured but for this week…

They’ve selected Zombie Pizza for the coveted title (and to prove that we weren’t insane when we loved the bejesus out of the game!)

The undead aren’t exactly known for their patience, especially when there’s brain pizza on order. So our advice with this fun, fast-paced, perfect-for-Halloween app is to sling the offal toppings onto empty crusts like your life depends on it. In this game, it does: Push those pies too slowly, and the customers snack on you.

We Said

Here’s what we called the game in our review:

You’ve seen them come out with “fancy” apps/games before that people love. What you didn’t know is they’ve been cooking up a gory, casual and all out pizza making fun!

This game proves two things: Appy Entertainment CAN put out real games, and DAMN good ones.

It’s humorous wacky and wildy put together (zombies throw fits and bang your parlor if the meter reaches its limit) creating hours of unlimited (if survival gets put in place) playtime.

For now, it’s definitely one of those titles you should check out. And we’ll even dare say at $0.99, you should download the game right away.

Well I don’t know what you’ll say but hopefully you’ll pick the game up. I heard from a little birdie that survival mode is on its way, better pick the game up now in time for Halloween.
