You all know how we love Arthur Ham’s Run! here. Well it looks like we just saw the game opposite of it, but just as good.
Crazy Hamster (Free - This Weekend Only)

Hamster is so crazy that he sees nothing but fruits. The lands he visits are full of traps and obstacles he won’t even notice. You have to help him and neutralize those traps. There’s no time to loose, the hamster has already set off!

Gameplay
In Run! the goal is to THROW the enemies away, in Crazy Hamsters you’re job is to ASSIST the hamster avoid the traps. How will you do that? By fire extinguishers, trampolines, boats, bridges and more! The hamster is set on autorun but you can adjust his speed by tilting forward and back.

There are four different worlds to conquer and each of them are graphically varied. The game is set up as a puzzler. However, I think the game needs to fully harness its ability by providing a survival mode much like Run! and have OpenFeint support and all!
Conclusion
Crazy Hamsters is a very solid game and is a super steal at this price (aka free). I hope the dev really considers a survival mode as the game’s very much setup for that. Select the world you want and survive.
For now, enjoy the game and the levels as it’s very much enjoyable as is… AND IT’S FREE!

This didn't feel like an avoid the obstacles kind of game. Because you just have to select the correct pieces at the appropriate time, I agree with your assessment that it is "set up as a puzzler." Not bad for a freebie, but it probably won't get too much play since there are only so many hours in a day.
I think Orba and Fayju Ball have been the best Freebies in the recent past. (I'm probably forgetting something)
Thanks for the recos, keep 'em coming.
