Galcon LITE FREE Again: Did They Ever Charge For It?

Galcon remains to be one of the best strategy games out there. If you’ve never tried it, now is the good time to download the free version. By the way, does anyone know if they charged for the lite version before?

Galcon Lite is an awesome high-paced galactic action-strategy game. Send swarms of ships to defeat enemy planets and conquer the universe!

Check out their latest release Galcon Labs as well while you’re at it. It features the original Galcon plus a couple new games.

Lastly, does anyone really know if Galcon Lite was charged $0.99 for a week or is this an error?

    Based on AppShopper.com, Galcon Lite was selling for $0.99 from Nov. 16 to Nov. 23, 2009. This is the only time since Galcon Lite was released that it was charging any money at all.

    Why they charged for it, I can't say. Maybe they were highlighted by Apple or something and they felt they could take advantage of it.

    I personally would never spend $0.99 on a "Lite" version when the full version is just a couple of dollars more.
