I got a very interesting email over the weekend inquiring what Gameloft games are releasing in December. We’re not Gameloft support desk, but I’m more than happy to recap what Gameloft previously teased as part of their December catalogue.
NOVA (First Person Shooter, Halo-like)
The game was first unveiled last September during Apple’s Rock And Roll event. NOVA promises to offer lush graphics and animation coupled with some new technology like voice chat and multiplayer (unsure if 3G as well at this point).
Skater Nation is Gameloft’s take on the portable skating genre. The graphics look quite awesome yet again, but we’re really holding out for how fluid the controls will be.
Avatar (Based on the James Cameron Movie)
Obviously a movie tie in with the upcoming movie Avatar, the game’s trailer actually surprised us with it looking more than decent. On the other hand, there’s really no surprise looking at Gameloft’s track record aka Terminator Salvation…
The famous console franchise and one can call the “Car-Only GTA” arrives for the iPhone this December as well. In what capacity and how much this version stays true to the original is still up in the air. We’ll just assume it’ll be good.

They’ve already started unleashing games with the release of Rogue Planet yesterday. Who knows these titles may drop sooner than later!?! <hoping…>
