We’ve absolutely loved these totally harmful monkeys (what with the pins, cannons and catapults) in Bloons and Bloons TD. Yesterday, Digital Goldfish released a special holiday game in Bloons Festive Fun!

The monkey is back in time for the holiday season as everyones favorite bloon popping puzzler returns to the App Store. Bloons Festive Fun is the ultimate Christmas Countdown Companion this winter.

Similar to the AppVent Calendar, Bloons Festive Fun opens up 3 levels each day which started yesterday until December 31. Don’t worry! All previous days will be unlocked regardless of when you buy it.

This is a very cool tie in idea especially the part about getting an item to dress up your living room all leading up to New Year’s Eve!

Please note that as the gameplay is quite limited seeing you can’t unlock the other levels ’til the next day, but that isn’t the whole purpose of the game.

Digital Goldfish wanted to put a twist on the normal (and maybe boring) advent calendar, and we think they’ve succeeded. Every fans of Bloons and these monkeys should no doubt download the game for $0.99!
