**This is APPVENT CALENDAR FEATURED game for Dec 8!**
No Monkeys delivers a super addictive eco-friendly puzzle that’s easy to learn, but difficult to master.

Green Fingers (FREE - Limited Time?)
Do you think you have a green thumb? Prove it in Green Fingers, the exciting new puzzle game from No Monkeys. Swap the flower pots to collect the correct item for your flowers and watch them grow. Test your dexterity and puzzle skills in this original and fun game that is available exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
My Take
Another 99 cent good FREE puzzle game! I will say it’s similar to Yoshi’s Cookie on the NES. So the only difference in the game is the themes, Yoshi being the Mario World theme. With Green Fingers, your growing flowers and lining up bees, and with better touch controls. It’s a definite casual game, meaning it’s not meant to be too deep.

Given it’s using OpenFeint for online purposes, I’d give this a go. Green Fingers is made well, and enjoyable even though it’s one dimensional, it’s a matter of how far OpenFeint can take the game.
Presentation
It’s looking good! The art is clean, vector art. I will give some props to the designer for keeping it minimal, since after a while in the game, a lot is going on. Good locations for the pause and score plus the object colors dropping down are distinct from one another. Although the bee icon and the sun seem to trip me up when it starts raining down on you.

Gameplay
A quick summary of the game in Green Fingers is to line up the matching objects into the flower pots. Sounds easy? It is! It’s when the objects aren’t lined up, it’s your quick green fingers that must move around the flower pots to the right location as they drop from the top. With easy swipe controls, swap the flower pots and manage your growth as the objects fall. The further you get into the game the crazier you have to move the flower pots around. It’s has a time management puzzle feel to it, after all, you are in control of the bottom half as the top half randomly comes down.

Unlock achievements, post online scores on a leaderboard, post your score on Twitter and on Facebook. Casual gaming at its best when OpenFeint takes over. If you are like me, I check out what my friends are playing, that’s one of my favorite aspects of the in-game social integration. Get interrupted? Green Fingers has an automatic save system. Always a must for any casual gaming experience.
Suggestion
It looks like city buildings are growing in the background, maybe a chance to unlock other cities, to lengthen the game a bit? It’s hard enough, I’m still getting the hang of it, but it might be an idea to extend the casual lifespan. That’s my only concern, it’s too one dimensional to me. It’s a great game and I’m not at all complaining.
Conclusion
It’s good! There is a lite version for this puzzle, just like No Monkeys other offerings. So give it a try, if it’s worth a dollar (free limited time) to you, support your independent devs to offer up more games to our liking.
Green Fingers is good casual fun, ready for you to test and enjoy. I’m literally kicking James’ behind for not letting you guys know about this game earlier! Our apologies.
