You’ve seen us go gaga over the mindlessly addicting Paper Toss World Tour. Don’t you kind of wonder how it’d be if we replace crumpled paper with gifts? Wonder no more, Santa’s Run is THAT and FREE for AppVent Calendar Day 9 as well!

Make sure each house gets the number of presents on its wish list, and watch out for winds that might throw your present deliveries off track. Your careful aim will bring happiness to families worldwide!
The colored halos at the bottom guide you on how far your throw is. Once you’ve delivered all gifts to that map, you move on to the next.
My Take
To be honest, the game’s waaaaay better than what I had anticipated. I thought the whole mechanic just wouldn’t work but playing the game changed everything.
The graphics are eyepopping, and the game just reeks of holiday cheer. I think I blame the cool soundtrack for that.

Suggestions
The only little thing I didn’t like about the game is how the physics are off because you don’t really see physical wind action on screen. Unlike Paper Toss World Tour where you see dust and snow fly all over the screen with the wind, you don’t see anything here.
It’s actually quite a shame since snow would work perfect here and maybe even throw some cherry blossom leaves on the Japan level. Trust us, this would make the game so much better if the throws are somewhat more related to the wind… visually.
Conclusion
The game’s great. Let’s change some things a bit as described above as well creating a survival mode.
With a couple smoothing around the edges, this can be a truly remarkable app and not just addicting which is right now.
