Well well well, what do we have here… Right after Christmas, an update to Space Invaders Infinity Gene comes out. And not just any update, 2.0 update baby!
The new update includes brand new STAGES and music. Also, heck everyone’s doing it so why shouldn’t they? OpenFeint has been added to the game as well!

-EVOLUTION -
1. Now compatible with OpenFeint.
- A worldwide high score leaderboard has been added.
- In-game Achievements are now available.
- Facebook and Twitter upload support has been added.2. New stages have been added.
* New stages become available as the Evolution Gauge is filled through play.3. Music Stages have evolved.
4. Players can now rate Music Stages and share their recommendations with others.

Doesn't OpenFeint require you to have internet access to play the games?
I have an iPod touch and want this game, but I'd only pay for it if I can play it wherever I am, not just when I have WiFi access.
Oops. Sorry for the confusion. OpenFeint is indeed an online social component. You can however play the game OFFLINE where ever you are. OpenFeint is even good enough to cache all achievements and scores UNTIL you're online at which point it'll automatically upload
