Perhaps one of the arcade games I had the most fun with in 2009 was Com2Us’s Homerun Battle 3D (originally known as Baseball Slugger). It sold very well on iPhone, and complete with the worldwide multiplayer formula it was quite fun. So what’s up now, is there a battle between the two devices?

Nope, quite the opposite actually. Com2Us is doing something I’m pretty sure is the first ever done. Not only have they released Homerun Battle 3D for Android devices, but they’re also allowing iPhone players to compete with / play against the Droid users.

Com2US already has a well established base of players, with over 400,000 iPhone player on their servers. With the Droid newbs coming in, I might just start playing this again. It”ll be interesting if the Android market picks up, and perhaps makes competition for the iPhone, we’ll just have to wait and see.
