OpenFeint Stand Alone App Released: Happy Dance!

From the land of sudden fast approvals comes the app many have been longing for, the standalone OpenFeint app. So far the only way to use OpenFeint is by opening up an app (like Pocket God) that uses OpenFeint. But with the standalone app, it’s much easier to check on your OF profile and your friends.

There’s also a sort of promotion going on for the app, with one game going free a day. You can keep track of which game is free each day via the OpenFeint app, as well as discover featured games, the games your friends are playing, or just the ‘Feint Five’, a shuffle of 5 random OpenFeint enabled games.

So that’s that. Go download it, it’s free, and pretty awesome if I may say so.

I'm really very happy to see this.

I greatly enjoy Open Feint and it's really nice to be able to have access to all of the information without having to load up a game and have that running in the background.

And you can't go wrong with a few free games added to the mix.
