We’ve previously mentioned We Rule to you and called it FarmVille iPhone on roids at the same time. Last night, IGN posted some new information and an in depth look at the game, and boy! We were NOT wrong to call it FarmVille like!

Oh boy, this is gonna get pretty ugly once James gets his hands on this. IGN also had a hands-on with the game and says its somewhat similar to Facebook games such as FarmVille and Mafia Wars. and says it builds on the base of these little entertainments in hopes of creating something better.

Just like FarmVille, you start out with a small piece of town which you’ll then utilize or cultivate into a booming town. You’ll plant crops which will return coins which you can then use to build new buildings which will make money all over again.

We Rule will be using ngmoco’s Plus+ network and as you might have guessed it, will rely heavily on social networking. This shouldn’t be a problem since Plus+ has a lot of users so here’s one tip: start teaming up with great people because once the game is released, the race for the best kingdom is on.
