Not even on the night of the Superbowl does Apple give us a break with the game releases. Tonight two heavily awaited games were finally released!
Tapulous Riddim Ribbon
I got that boom boom pow… errr… sorry got distracted. Riddim Ribbon (iTunes Link) is finally out in the wild. We first saw it at the Apple event, demo’d together with Gameloft’s NOVA (sorta funny both make news at the same time again).

Riddim Ribbon is an Audiosurf like game where you must keep the ball on track, and can switch between tracks for different mixes of the songs, creating at the end your own custom mix of the song.
GT Racing: Motor Academy (iTunes Link)
We first saw Real Racing, then NFS Shift. Now it’s Gameloft’s turn at a racing game that isn’t pure arcade like racing / physics. Not much about the game had been known before, but judging on the screenshots it looked quite impressive.

Could this be the new king in the racing genre for iPhone? We’ll have impressions up shortly.
Both games will be get the full review treatments on the site shortly but did anyone buy one or both of the games already? Thoughts?

I still want to get Riddim Ribbon, but I'm not sure if it'll be buying it. The price and the amount of content is making me cautious about buying it.
