It seems like everyone’s into zombies these and FarmVille these days (myself included obviously). Thankfully, someone finally thought of combining the two and rolling some Plants Vs Zombies graphics/gameplay into it and you get Zombie Farm which is also FREE!

Thoughts
The game is a VERY huge step up from Tap Farm on the strength of drawing patches alone. The tools and the overall game design are actually a lot closer to FarmVille which I liked off the bat. Facebook connect and offline play are two features highly desirable.
The biggest problem I have with the game is the lack of an overall documentation. Zombie Farm does guide you with the basics but you’re left on your own for the most part. Besides that, the social aspect of it seems non existent without an iPhone social platform like Plus+ or OpenFeint. Lastly, I wish there were more items available using coins than brain (which you’d have to buy using In App Purchase thus making this freemium).
Overall, I think the game looks and plays great especially when I figure out how to do the feature I bolded above. Zombie Farm is whacky and kooky and it’s just what you need for those little times you have free. The design is absolutely great and let’s hope the game becomes less freemium oriented to widen its audience

Absolutely cool game. I like how you nailed every detailed down. I wouldn't really care about the level 6 cap. I think you should've just stated that on the iTunes description as you caught some people off guard. I did buy a brain though
Really nice game, but I also didn't figure out how to invade Mcdonnell's barn… A litte more explanation ingame would be nice…
I'm doing a full review. You NEED to grow AT LEAST 10 zombies first before you can attack. If you win the attack, guess what? You get GOLD! and 1 Brain!!! Then after that, if your zombies didn't die, you can fight again AFTER 2 hours!
How can I not do a full review after that? This game is so friggin amazing!!!
hi guys, there is something i needed to know desperately.
I had 3 zombies with me, 2 balanced fighter ad one garden zombie.
but shortly they started to show that they were really hungry and later on after a day or so they have vanished
how did this happen? do we have to feed them or do these things have imited life? what happened to them?
please help me! i am new to this game!
I havent had one disappear/die through hunger which you're suggesting… ALTHOUGH you always have to have at least 8 zombies to invade Old McDonald. I think they eat while they fight as well so that's maybe where you're lacking.
Mine dissapered too!! I had 2 regular zombies one garden zombie and a headless zombie which started registering "hungry" but when I checked a few hours later they wernt there. What's the deal? Ps- awesome game and I too was confused about attacking mcdonnell's farm but thanks to this thread I now know how
It seems to me that WHATEVER happens. You shouldn't leave your zombies hanging around for 12 HOURS. What I do is I create an army of 16 EVERYTIME. Then I plant zombies according to my sleep patterns (4 hours, 12 hours etc). The same thing goes with plants. Oh WARNING: if you harvest MORE THAN 16 zombies… YOU WILL JUST LOSE THEM! Be careful of this. Fight with your INITIAL 16 first then some will die then harvest AFTER! Hope this helps.
I'm not sure why everyone's crying at the AppStore. If they look at Farmville, most good items cost cash too. BTW, I just upgraded to 40×40 with 100000 gold I earned from JUST FIGHTING! I only had to buy 1 brain this whole time for Level 6 cap which I was MORE THAN happy to pay for

I love this game! Just hit level 12! Always make sure have more than 10 Zombies. I got 4 free brains from the fight.

Few comments, we get more gold and things if we have friends on face book that play zombie farm on the iphone. so ADD ME AND ILL ADD YOU LOL!!!!

If you have low life force you might harvest life less zombies. Life force comes from trees and some of the items.

Alright so this is what happened.
I got to level 8 and bought the 40×40 farm upgrade. It was all good for like about 5 minutes until i started moving some stuff to make my farm look good on my new farm's size. Then it crashed. I opened it again and to my surprise the 40×40 upgrade was gone (you don't know how pissed i got when this happened). My farm was back to the way it was before! Not only that, the 10,000 gold i spent on that upgrade was also GONE. I checked the market and it wouldn't allow me to purchase the 40×40 upgrade, simply because I SPENT 10,000 GOLD ON IT ALREADY. It's now just a dark, unclickable icon.
FIX THIS APP. I'm really pissed about this and i really love this game.

I was never interested in playing games like farmville etc. but when i came across this zombie farm, I can't stop wanting for more. I can't get pass level 6 though, i tried to buy brain and willing to pay for the FREEMIUM but then my iPhone crashes everytime I entered my card details. weird. I just hope I was not charged as I didn't get the brain at all.
Entered card details? All the game should ask is your username and password for iTunes… unless you dont have a CC linked to your iTunes account. That's the first thing I'd advise you do.

hey guys which zombies are the strongest? i mean are blue better than the green and the red better than the blue? one more thing there are certain upgrades like, if we spend one brain then all the land would be plowed and others like tht…are these just one time upgrades? i have 5 brains with me 4 from fighting and one i got after i bought the blue grave!
but i am confused as to how to spend these!!!! so many options….and advises??
Those are just one time use. Definitely buy a red grave for the red zombies. You wont defeat the farmer with just using blue zombies. I made the mistake of purchasing a pond first BEFORE a red grave and I could never win. Now with red, I ALWAYS win. Only plant the female zombies. They're the strongest.
