James Isabel Did you see what I just did there? After some days of anticipation, SQUARE ENIX‘s classic RPG that set the bar for this successful franchise (and possibly all RPG’s): Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 2 have arrived for the iPhone:
Players guide the Warriors of Light as they set out on a quest to restore the crystals to their former luster. Its side view battles, choice and promotion of character classes, and sprawling world explored with fantastic vehicles quickly became standards of the series.
If you’re a classic RPG fan, chances are you should’ve instantly bought these already. If you haven’t you’re not a RPG fan obviously. We’re still playing through the game to inspect if anything changed other than the controls (touch implementation) which are awesome by the way.
We’ll offer you a full review of both games soon enough, but as we said, the game’s looking pretty faithful so far to their previous outings on other consoles. For those new to RPG, we have you covered as well. Stay tuned!
