And the goods just keep on coming! After the surprise Netflix iPad appearance last night, Activision is finally gifting iPhone and iPad gamers with Geometry Wars: Touch for iPad ($9.99):

So long are the days when we just wished this franchise would head to the iPhone. A lot of iPhone games have been compared to it including CS.One and Occurro!, but will the saying the original is always the best hold true?

It seems that Activision was finally happy with the iPad’s performance to handle the game’s intense particle effects and animation. This “port” will have the original Geometry Wars gameplay modes: Deadline, King, Evolved, Pacifism, Waves and Sequence, and a special iPad only mode: Titans!
