This is the Resident Evil you know and love on Gamecube, PC, Playstation, and Wii, on your iPad. You play as Leon Kennedy in this survival shooter, to take down hordes of zombies and save the world.
Recap
This game is a survival third person shooter set in a Raccoon City, a town that had been infested with zombies prior to being sterilized. Your goal is now to save the President’s daughter in Europe. To do this, you must fight your way through hordes of infected individuals. This game is meant to be a horror-type shooter. You are well armed against the zombies, with an arsenal of guns. This is one of the best known shooters, and really is beautiful on the iPad,

The controls consist of a d-pad on one side for direction and an set of action buttons along the other, for knife, gun, and return to walking. These are very natural on the iPad, and the the best controls for this game.

The graphics are console level, and make this game really shine above other iPad shooters. They are well made, and add real value over the iPhone version. They are sharp and crisp, and give the game that horror type edge.

While the basic story remains unchanged from any of the other Resident Evil 4 games on the other platforms, the iPad version is a console level game in your hand. The added real estate is a real benefit for this game, give you more room to look around and interact.

Aside from that, not much has changed. But, that alone is enough to change the whole game.

Resident Evil 4 iPad Edition is an obvious next step for the series. It is a magnificent game, and is worth it’s added price over the iPhone version. This game is truly perfect for the iPad, and if you are looking for a third person shooter on your new iPad, look no further. This is easily worthy of an amazing 9.5/10.
