A lot of our readers play Playforge’s Zombie Farm faithfully. The latest update finally brings Game Center to the game. However, if you have a device lower than iPod Touch 2G or the iPhone 3GS, do NOT install the latest update.
Why? A lot of people are reporting crashing issues with the latest update. I have an iPhone 4 with the latest iOS, and the game works perfectly. Some people however are having problems, and I believe I know why.
I think the problem arises when non-Game Center supported iDevices tries to notify Game Center of your achievements. When I first opened the game after the latest update, Zombie Farm went nuts by notifying me of all the achievements I’ve got. If you don’t have Game Center, the game does not know what to do and thus the crash.
We’ve tried to reach the developers for a comment on this issue. For now, do NOT update the game unless you hear back from us.
