Verizon iPad Drops October 28: Surprise Surprise!

Woohoo! Apple finally threw Verizon a damn bone! While pretty much everyone is expecting a Verizon iPhone, Verizon and Apple surprised everyone when they’ve unveiled the new line of Verizon iPad:

These iPads are the current gen Wi-Fi models of the device. In a smart move by both companies, the 3 iPad models will be packaged with MiFi of three different plans.

Models + Cost:

  • 16GB: $629.99
  • 32GB: $729.99
  • 64GB: $829.99

MiFi Pricing Plans:

  • 1GB: $20
  • 3GB: $30
  • 5GB: $50

Please note that overage charges cost $20/GB for the $20 plan and $10/GB for both the 3GB and 5GB data plans. All three iPads will be on sale October 28. Please check Verizon’s website for more info.

What About AT&T?

Oh come on AT&T, don’t cry… Apple still loves you (for now). The iPads WILL also now be available at most AT&T stores. They will also handle the business iPad solutions.

Because it comes with a MiFi. It’s like 3G on the go on another device.
