Remember Eliminate
? Ya, the one from ngmoco. Well ngmoco has teamed up with THQ to bring you Star Wars: Imperial Academy
. It’s basically a first person shooter with “the force”, ha!

The game like all other ngmoco releases is only available to Canadians (or fake Canadians) for now, and it’s pretty neat. More details after the jump.

Darth Vader wants you for his Imperial Academy! Compete against your fellow recruits in 4-player deathmatch battles throughout the the Star Wars universe to become an elite Stormtrooper.
4-player deathmatch over wifi and 3G
Battle in the Cloud City chamber, through the halls of Tantive IV, on the streets of Tatooine and across other sets from the Star Wars universe
Master an armory full of weapons, including the E-11 sniper rifle, FA-3 Flechette launcher, Relby-v10 micro grenade launcher and more!
Don your favorite Stormtrooper armor, including Assault, Blackhole and Royal Guard
Upgrade your weaponry and armor to ensure you’ll rank among the elite
Retina-popping graphics optimized for the iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4th Gen.)
Control settings for all skill levels: Turn auto-fire on for beginners; advanced players can adjust look sensitivity, turn on look momentum and invert aim
It looks like Eliminate heavily themed a-la Star Wars to be honest. But hey, it’s a free shooter, and more importantly, it’s a Star Wars shooter! So it’s worth a shot.
