This is some pretty big news, and a pretty big score for both Rovio Mobile and the iOS world. NY Post through C21media is confirming that the studio is moving along with Angry Birds Animated Series!

“It was a completely new area for us; we had to get our bearings there, and a sense of how the whole market was,” Hed told C21.

“That was the first part of the exercise, and now that we’ve done that, the next part is to move into production, and that’s where we are right now.

Angry Birds has really become one of the most (if not THE) successful iOS games ever. An animated series would do nothing, but fully cement that stature. Congrats on the team. This seems like a pretty big deal which ever medium we actually get to watch it.
