Another day, and it’s another day in rumor-land as well. This post’s target includes the iPhone 5 and iPad 2. Technology is always advancing and thus, these new devices will probably include Near Field Communication:

The services are based on “Near-Field Communication,” a technology that can beam and receive information at a distance of up to 4 inches, due to be embedded in the next iteration of the iPhone for AT&T Inc. and the iPad 2, Doherty said. Both products are likely to be introduced this year, he said, citing engineers who are working on hardware for the Apple project.
It’s been reported that Apple is planning to use this technology to tie money into your iTunes account. You can then use your iOS device to purchase anything with it… as long as they have a NFC terminal for it.
What do you think of this? Will you be using this to pay stuff with if it does materialize?
