PlayFirst has made a killing on their “Dash” series on the iOS. Their latest game continues the tradition, if you can get it to work…
Let’s ignore the constant crashes for a minute… Your real life parking experiences aren’t needed to play Parking Dash. Since it’s all virtual, no need to worry about other cars or anything else which makes it even more fun and hassle free.
Presentation
Parking Dash is a fun and simple app with an achievable goal: park as many cars as you can in a timely manner and earn as much tips as possible from your customers. No real story to this game. The game is designed where you play a parking attendant and must park the customers’ cars in the designated area.
As the game goes along, more and more customers will come (and may not be very patient) so time is a factor. The farther along each level you get, you may get more parking spots and other things to help you with your customers. The faster you get your customers in and out, the more tips you get adding to points.
Controls
Controls are simple. You are pretty much just touching and pointing to where you want the cars to go. If a car is dirty, you have to swipe back and forth to clean it. There are hints throughout the game to help you go through each level.
Gameplay
The game is a fairly simple game. It starts out with a few customers with a few parking spots. Then as the game progresses, you get more cars and more parking spots, which can lead to impatient customers, so it’s important to get their cars in and out as quickly as possible.
No leaderboards. There are 3 stages with different levels per stage. You have to get a certain amount of stars to get to the next level. There are upgrades you can get if you earn a lot of tips.
Suggestion
We thought of not reviewing this game since there are obviously bugs that need to be sorted out. However, this is one of the most popular iOS series and we’d hate for people to buy it and have a bad experience.
The game in itself is fun. The gameplay and nice visuals are there (it’s why it still warranted 5 stars), but please PlayFirst, I seriously hope a fix is already on the way.
Conclusion
Overall this was a fun and easy game. It’s very easy to get addicted because it is pretty simple. You can strategize a little bit if you want to get more points, but it’s not really necessary. If you want a straightforward game to play, you should try this app. If not, you can always practice your parking skills.
