Street Fighter IV Volt Upcoming FREE Update To Add Lovely New Female Characters

If you’re looking for a competitive online fighting experience for iOS, Street Fighter IV Volt is your game. Volt was released last month and is basically SF IV with more characters plus online multiplayer through Game Center.

Street Fighter IV Volt ($6.99)

According to Andriasang and 4Gamer.net, Street Fighter IV Volt’s next update will feature two lovely new female characters, Sakura and Makoto. Sakura was first introduced in the Alpha series and Makoto first made her appearance in SF III. Both are popular characters and should be a great addition to an already large roster.

You can check out more screenshots at Andriasang and 4Gamer.net. So far no release date has been announced for the Sakura and Makoto update, but we will keep you updated as more info becomes available.

Street Fighter fans are looking forward to February, when the eagerly awaited Street Fighter IV will be released. Earlier today, Capcom released some new details related to the standard box copy and the collector’s edition of the game. The standard copy has received a new art design reflecting the comments of the Capcom Unity boards, Street Fighter fan sites and focus testing. Instead of the Chun-Li cover, the new box art will feature Ryu facing off against Ken.
