Remember RAGE? Well, if you didn’t know it already, the people who make it (iD Software) also made a game (among many others) I’m sure you’ve heard about: Quake. Well anyways, it’s quite famous, in fact there’s even an event named after it: QuakeCon.

And today they announced they want to make Rage and Rage HD FREE for two weeks. What do you have to do? It’s quite simple, just like the RAGE page on Facebook, and you’ve done your part.

QuakeCon kicked off today, and that’s when they announced the RAGE/RAGE HD promotion. Basically, when the Facebook page reaches 100,000 fans, they’ll make RAGE / RAGE HD free on the AppStore for two weeks. We took a look at it back when it was released, and despite being a on-rails shooter, it was really fun, and at the time (and even now) offers impressive graphics on the iPhone.

So go ahead, like the page, and keep checking the site. We’ll post when the games hit the free price-tag.
