After it hit the news that Apple might be working personally with customers being affected with poor battery life on the iPhone 4S, or even some running iOS 5, Apple today released a statement to The Loop’s Jim Dalrymple, confirming that they are aware of the issue and that they are working on it.
They also went ahead and seeded a iOS 5.0.1. beta to developers, which is said to fix the issue. Here’s the complete rundown of this update:
- Fixes bugs affecting battery life
- Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
- Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
- Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
- Contains security improvements
