Usually whenever there’s a new feature from Apple, Firemint is always among the first to support it, whether it be iOS 5, retina display, or even the iPad. But that’s not the only time they update their apps, and they’ve just rolled out a bunch of holiday updates to their apps on the AppStore.
This includes updates for Flight Control, Flight Control HD, and Spy Mouse. Hit the jump for more details!
The update includes a new ‘Storm Airfield’ map. The map has a thunderstorm in the middle of it, and yes, aircraft can be struck by lighting, but not twice! Zapped aircraft cannot be redirected for a limited time, but you can also use the new rewind feature to avoid being zapped.
On the other hand, the iPad version of Flight Control received a ‘Moon Base’ map that has four new types of aircrafts – land shuttles, satellites, rockets, and UFOs. As usual, you direct them to safety, but you must also make sure they don’t hit any asteroids. As with the above, you can use the rewind feature to go back in time and avoid being hit.
As for Spy Mouse, World 1 is now holiday themed in snow and decorations (and I hear the first boss is in a festive mood). Cheese crumbs are now candy canes, a new challenge in your backpack, and a holiday icon for the game.
