Prepare yourselves for the next Pygmie adventure from Bolt Creative titled Pocket God: The Runs for iOS. The Runs will be a running game influenced by classic games like Super Mario Bros. and Sonic The Hedgehog.

Pocket God: The Runs will be an entirely new game complete with multiple worlds, levels, and its own compelling story line. The Runs first arrived in Episode 32 of the original Pocket God update “Crack is Whack,” which quickly became one of the more popular episodes. The Runs will  expand on this mini game featured in Episode 32, so you know it’s going to be a blast!

“Over the past few years we have explored many different ways to annihilate those poor little islanders, many of the suggestions coming from our own community of devoted followers, and the original The Runs mini game was definitely one of the more entertaining ways to dispatch Pygmies, ” said Dave Castelnuovo, co-founder of Bolt Creative. “As anticipated, The Runs proved to be quite popular and we really felt that it deserved to become its own full featured game, we’re not releasing all the details on it yet but be assured that it’ll fit nicely within the Pocket God universe.

Look for Pocket God: The Runs to be released sometime in the Spring 2012.
