It seems that electronics retailer Best Buy is now offering $50 off all iPad 2 models(16,32,64GB) WiFi + 3G. This discount comes just days before Apple is expected to announce the next generation iPad 3.

While Best Buy most likely doesn’t have any advance notice of when the next-gen iPad will launch, it doesn’t hurt to try and get rid of older inventory before an expected product release.

The iPad 3 is expected to be announced next week March 7 at an event in Northern California. The next-gen device is expected to feature an A6 processor, a better camera, and an amazing retina display.

Hey, I love my iPad 2 just as much as the next guy, but I would definetly hold out for an iPad 3 instead of taking the $50 discount.
