Well this is certainly weird and surprising news. Media mogul Ryan Seacrest has acquired and sold the rights to a Draw Something  tv show to CBS Deadline reports. It sounds like this show is on a fast track to being made more than the announced Angry Birds movie.

“Per the network: “Each week, teams of celebrities and everyday users will test their skills in front of a studio audience to earn money and big laughs. Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities.”

CBS certainly has a knack for getting shows made based on popular media. It tried but failed with Shit My Dad Says Twitter feed, but hopefully this is something that will be a success.
