This video is quite old, but it’s still pretty relevant especially if you want a visual on how the supposed taller iPhone 5 stacks up against iPhone 4S. Japanese blog Mackotara has given us a side-by-side demo shown below:
Via Macrumors: “As has been shown by leaks so far, the next-generation iPhone would be somewhat taller than the current model, with estimates putting the difference in height at roughly 10 mm. Roughly in line with the design schematic leaked yesterday, Macotakara measures the display opening at 10.33 cm (4.07 in) diagonally, allowing a 4-inch display as has been rumored to fit within the opening.”
I have had the pleasure of testing iOS 6 on my iPhone 4S. One of the new iOS greatest features is turn by turn navigation for Apple’s new maps. It really works especially well and fast now. As any other GPS, it can benefit using a bigger screen. This is why I fully believe these rumors.
Why wouldn’t anyone want a slightly bigger iPhone anyway? Besides, it won’t change the current form factor for games and apps by much. Thoughts?
