Holy crap do you remember this game? It’s been three years since True Axis released Jet Car Stunts  on the AppStore. If you’ve never heard of the game or never played it, let me just stop you right now and tell you this: go buy it right now.

Posting on the TouchArcade forums, True Axis revealed that they will be submitting an update to add support for the iPad. Not only that, it is optimized for each version of the iPad.

No matter what device you’re on, you’ll be getting 60fps. However, if you’re on an iPad 2, you’ll also be getting multi-sampling. And finally, on the new iPad (and iPhone 4S) you’ll be getting multi-sampling as well as full retina display support. All this will come in a free update that should be submitted any day now, we’ll keep you posted.

Meanwhile, True Axis is still at work on True Skate, and you can see a bit of gameplay on their Facebook page. Once True Skate is done, they will get back to work on the long awaited Jet Car Stunts 2. I can’t wait.
