iOS 6 Release Date Rumors & News: Beta 3 Now Available, iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak To Follow?

I title these posts the same everytime a new iOS beta goes live because believe it or not, some people haven’t got used to the fact that if you’re jailbroken, don’t update until iPhone-Dev says so. iOS 6 Beta 3 went live yesterday, and there’s no untethered jailbreak so far.

Via Macrumors: “The third beta, which arrives as Build 10A5355d, comes three weeks after the previous developer version of Build 10A5338d.” Some of the new features include Apple transitioning from @me to @icloud.com email addresses which we’ll discuss more later this week.

Other Changes:

- Roadwork and traffic accidents showing up in Maps app
- Answer and Decline buttons for FaceTime calls have returned
- iMessage on iPad now accepting phone number as valid contact info
- Greater 3D Flyover coverage in Maps
- Glyphs for bookmarks, Reading List, and history in Safari
- Auto-brightness changes gradually

We’ll keep you posted as eagle eyed folks uncover more new stuff in the latest iOS 6 beta software.
