EA announced today they will be pulling both the Rock Band games on the AppStore, Rock Band  and Rock Band Reloaded , from the AppStore on July 31st, due to the contract between EA and Harmonix for use of the Rock Band title has expired.

Previously purchased songs that are either on the device itself, or backed up with iCloud will still be playable, but there will be no new content for the game.

Unfortunately, if you don’t have purchased songs on your device or iCloud backup, you will not be able to recover them. This is unfortunate for Rock Band players, so make sure to backup your stuff! And if you ever thought about buying the game, this is your last chance.
