We’re not short on part leaks for the iPad mini and next-generation iPhone. In fact, the latest were the smaller dock connector and bottom headphone jack. Repair firm iResQ decided to place them parts in a rear shell that is claimed to be for the next generation iPhone. So what happens when you put them together?
The pieces fit together perfectly, with even the screw holes and components lining up properly. It’s worth noting that the fit of these pieces doesn’t confirm these parts, but take it as you will. The photos also give you an idea of how the next generation iPhone will look like from a bottom view, with the smaller dock making space for the headphone jack and larger speaker grille.
This isn’t the first leak, there have been more than plenty and I’m sure as we get closer to the release we’ll just keep seeing more. Apple is expected to hold a media event on September 12 to introduce the next generation iPhone. It is also rumored that the iPad mini would also make an appearance that day, but the reports are conflicting.
