Everything is pretty much “social” these days from social networks to games. CAPCOM especially is making a killing on iOS with their farming/social games. They’re looking to turn up the heat with a “Social Mega Man RPG” per TouchArcade (whatever that means).

“…titled Mega Man Xover (pronounced: Crossover). It’s named as such because it will offer a cross section of previous Mega Man worlds. You’ll be able to build your own Mega Man robot and then battle in the mean streets of a… social RPG? Yeah, apparently that’s what this is.”

In addition via Polygon: “The game is being made to mark the series’ 25th anniversary and begins with the heroes of Mega Man being locked away in a separate dimension by villains like Dr. Wily and Sigma. It is up to players to team up with their friends to defeat the villains.”

Judging by the screenshots, this looks like an endless runner game in the vein of Jetpack Runner from Halfbrick. I would even take it further and assume the game will be free, hence the title of this post. Would you be interested in this once released?
