As promised, here’s more news on Assassin’s Creed Utopia, thanks to Ubisoft. The game will be a city-building game, but will also have asynchronous battles. Assassin’s Creed Utopia will be available on iOS and Android.
Eurogamer does a great job at summarizing the concept of the game:
You’ll be able to build your own 17th century colony, and watch it grow over 150 years – from the first settlers’ arrival until the revolution.
Your settlement will house the the New World’s first and finest band of Assassins. You’ll be able to pit their strength against your friends in asychronous 3D brawls, or enlist their help to defeat foes in “limited time epic battles”.
Apart from the backstory and setting, Utopia won’t have much of a tie-in with the console version of Assassin’s Creed 3. Assassin’s Creed Utopia doesn’t have a set release date other than winter. The console version, however, of Assassin’s Creed 3, is set to release October 31st.
