iOS 6 Release Date September 19th: iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak Out Soon?

Ahead of the official release on September 19th, Apple has gone ahead and seeded the iOS 6 golden master to developers on the dev portal.  Sad news to those of you running on the beta, there is no OTA update, but there is an easy way of upgrading.

Although there is no OTA update, if you are a developer simply login to the portal and download the appropriate firmware for your device. On iTunes, instead of selecting restore, simply alt-click on update and select the firmware file. This way you won’t lose any of your data.

iOS 6 will be available for the iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS, new iPad, iPad 2, fourth generation iPod touch, and of course the new iPhone and iPod touch. It includes noticeable updates to Maps, Siri, and much more. It’ll be out for free for everyone on September 19th.

I’m guessing iPhone-Dev Team is already hard at work on the untethered jailbreak and should release it around the time iOS 6 goes public for everyone. Thoughts?
