Although we won’t be getting a new SimCity game on iOS (that we know of so far), we will be getting a new one on Mac simultaneously with the PC release this February.

As development moves along, EA has been showing off some of the gameplay with videos. This one shows the early stages of building a small town and a glimpse at the new day/night feature.

Mac users will be able to use the new multiplayer component in SimCity, feature-compelte with the PC version. SimCity is expected to be released in February of 2013, with no official pricing or system requirements yet.
