Look who’s back independently! It’s Mr Tweetie himself! Loren Brichter has a more exciting story than most of us will ever have. In 2008, his company Atebits created the Twitter client we all knew and loved: Tweetie.

At the time, it was ahead of all other Twitter apps. Later on, he released Tweetie 2, which Twitter bought and made the official app. And now Loren is back with a game.

After buying the app, Twitter also brought Loren onto their team for a short time. Now that he’s left Twitter, Loren is right back to work with “atebits 2.0″. In a blog post, Loren says that his next project is a game for iOS. The bad news is that other than that, there aren’t aren’t any other details. We’ll keep you posted.
