Surprise mother…err….player? Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is coming to “select” iOS and Android devices later this fall. Like with GTA3, the port of Vice City will be an anniversary release. This is super amazing news!

Rockstar isn’t releasing details yet, but its said that the Vice City port will have several “unique” enhancements, and will be using native, high-resolution assets.

In conjunction with the anniversary, we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be releasing an Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for select iOS and Android devices later this fall. This upcoming version will bring the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead including a list of compatible iOS and Android devices.

The mobile version will be part of a much bigger celebration of Vice City, which is turning ten. Collectible promotional items for people to buy will be available in the Rockstar store too.
