Calling all Final Fantasy fans!!!! Your favorite franchise has finally arrived on the iPhone. Final Fantasy hits the AppStore and is racking up some sales.
It seems like it was just yesterday when I was playing Final Fantasy on the NES, then again on the gba, and now I can experience all the adventures on my iPhone. But did Final Fantasy succeed in making a mark on iPhone RPG gaming?
Fresh of the heels of the Canadian release (so far) of ngmoco’s We Rule, let’s look at another FarmVille-iPhone contender…
The AppStore has a HUGE variety of game genres and there’s tons to choose from. We’ve all seen tycoon based games and other sims, but one game I haven’t seen is a Harvest Moon-esque style one, until now. The Harvest Moon style graphics and gameplay come as close as one can to the real thing.
The AppStore has been home to some of the most engaging mobile RPG’s to date. Why not add this game to your collection?
VANQUISH: The Oath of Brothers ($2.99)
Gamevil, a name that should sound familiar as they have released games such as Zenonia and Hybrid. To add another title to their collection, they bring you Vanquish: The Oath of Brothers. The graphics are very eye catching, does the game fulfill your slashing and hacking needs?
So James told me to download this game because it was the bombsauce and very addicting. To my surprise it wasn’t bad.
Bird strike, which is developed by PikPok, takes a similar route to DoodleJump and Papi Jump except there really isn’t a “jump” action in the game. The graphics are executed nicely and the sound is amusing. But can it compete with the rest of these “height challenge games”?
dB Omni brings you this one of a kind game, where you work as a bartender trying to successfully send out drinks to the right people as quickly as possible.
Shot Bar - Classic Shots Edition ($0.99)
Do you like playing fast paced management games such as Stand O Food? The excitement of trying to accomplish a goal before the time runs out. If you haven’t heard or played these types of games you should look into Shot Bar.
Who doesn’t enjoy the smell of funnel cakes, flashing lights, sounds of prize booths, and the rush of roller coasters?

If you’re like me those childhood memories are still there, and if you have similar tastes, you still enjoy going to carnivals.

Upon playing Cocoto Kart Racer, two titles came to mind, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart and Mario Kart. The same racing type is there, including the maps, characters, and weapons at your disposal.

Neko Entertainment and Eurocenter have made yet another racing game to choose from.It also has an amazing online multiplayer feature unlike some big company’s broken one (Konami we’re talking to you!).
It’s been a while since I played a game that was not only fun but very competitive. 2XL Fleet Defense is one such game.
2XL Games brings you this aerial combat game, which puts you against everyone else. It’s good to see that there are still devs who are able to produce games with potential. 2XL brings on the casual goods with a gameplay you haven’t seen before.

Have you had a chance to play any John Kooistra games yet? If the name doesn’t sound familiar then maybe Blue Attack and Blue Defense do.
Both of the above mentioned games were awesome and fun. Now Cat in a Box Games has released another of his addictive creations. It’s an interesting RTS, and for all fans of the genre, you should really check this game out.
