BMW Z4 Experience Review: The Ultimate Driving Machine?

Do you like the BMW Z4? If not, then maybe this ad, I mean game, will make you interested. Want to feel like you’re behind the wheel of a Z4, feeling the torque and controls of the convertible ultimate driving machine? Then look elsewhere, because the only thing this app shares is the name.

BMW Z4 Experience ($0.99 - On Sale; Free)

BMW Z4 Experience is based on the ad where a stunt driver drives a Z4 across a paint canvas with varying paints on the tire. If you’re not familiar with the ad, don’t worry it’s in the app. Included are 4 gameplay modes, with 6 landscapes to drive, 30 navigation levels, and a customize car option. There is a ton to do in this app, the question is if you want to?

Redneck Fishin’ Review: You might be a Redneck if…

The term Redneck Fishin’ was lost on me, I had no idea that it meant tossin’ dynamite into the water. Redneck jokes are funny on occasion so making a game with a redneck theme may be a good idea. Sonic BOOM decided to find out, and already has a few good titles, is this another one, or just a flounder?

Redneck Fishin’ ($0.99; Free)

Having a redneck theme is pretty unique to the app store so I was interested how it would be implemented in a game. The gameplay is extremely simple so the redneck theme would have to be woven into every aspect of the game to make it stand out. After playing, I didn’t find many stereotypical redneck things in the game.

E3 Expo: A.D.D. Looks Great, Wait, What?

Do you like super quick mini games with edgy content for a few laughs any time during the day? Then A.D.D. is definitely for you.

It is crazy, it is raunchy, it is wild AND IT’S SURE TO GIVE ITS APPLE REVIEWER some headache (evil laughs!!!!!!!).

add_e3_0094

We got to have a few minutes with Hong Yee Wong and Sarah Thomson from IUGO, and they previewed A.D.D. for us. It’s a game in the mold of Wario Ware, but enhanced with the iPhone’s capabilities.

You’re able to tap, tilt, and swipe everything else in between. The games are about 5 seconds, and part of that time you have to try and figure out what you’re supposed to do. The games come in rapid succession with a 3,2,1 countdown in between each game.During that time you’re given the title of the next game, and a picture of the iPhone showing what kind of controls will be used. This gives you a little head start to help figure out what to do next.

Shitload (A.D.D. is wild and crazy, we’re allowed to cuss) of screenshots after the jump…

iZombie Death March Review: Zombies, and Zombies, and Zombies, Oh My!

In case you haven’t noticed, Zombies have invaded the App Store from Attack From the Dead to Zombieville USA with tons in between. Where does iZombie Death March fit in?

iZombie Death March ($0.99)

iZombie Death march is fun from beginning to end, the only problem is that the gameplay’s length is albeit short. A lot of detail is packed into this game, and has the most “realistic zombie killing” action in the app store. You get to see gruesome zombie destruction as the body count piles up around you. An actual story is included to help set it apart from all of the other zombie titles.

Uggles Review: Puts the “Uggle” in Juggle

Ever wanted to juggle little furballs on your iPhone? No? Me neither. Once you start playing Uggles though, you’ll wonder why you never wanted to.

Uggles ($0.99)

Uggles is the perfect example of a casual game for the iPhone. All you have to do is keep the uggles from hitting ground which sounds super easy, well it’s not. It begins boringly slow then amps up to fever pitch relatively quickly until you’re swinging your iPhone back and forth vigorously. Difficulty in such simple gameplay only goes so far, and Uggles separates itself with charm packed into every detail.

iCombat Review: Toy Tank Blastin’

**James: Please welcome our new writer, TREVOR SHERIDAN’s inaugural review. We’re happy to have him on board (more on this cool new kid later today)!**

Pocket Tanks, iShoot, Crazy Tanks… what are the similarities between these three? Well besides tanks, these games are all super fun. Now a fourth game wants to tag along…

iCombat ($1.99)

iCombat is a remake of the classic Atari 2600 title Combat, and uses the iphone capabilities to create a whole new experience. You tilt and tap your way to conquering your opponents with a multitude of weapons at you command. iCombat is fun to pick up and play any time in short bursts whenever you feel like winning on a  full out toy tank warfare. Be careful of your own missiles.
