geoSpark is really one of the best iPhone gaming surprises from the last year. It’s simplicity and design just make for a perfect addicting killer game. At GDC, David revealed the game will have an iPad version.

The game will be formatted for the iPad which means there’ll be bigger sparks due to the device’s size. Though there aren’t exactly completely NEW features, the iPad’s size alone should provide more frantic fun for its players.

geoDefense 2 iPad, iPhone

geodefense-1 geodefense-1

The original geoDefense to this day remains one of the most challenging tower defense games I’ve ever played. The thought of it running on a bigger screen providing a bigger gameplay is already scaring me. The iPad is everything you’d expect… bigger levels, towers and all that fancy stuff.

Netflix iPhone, iPad: Maybe Just Maybe, Fingers Crossed!

Wired is reporting through multiple sources that the movie rental/online streaming company Netflix is pondering on delivering its services through the iPhones and the iPads. If such thing develops, it’s the death of television and movies, YAY!

“The selection availability to instantly watch [sic] includes some new releases, lots of classics and TV episodes. There are no advertisements or trailers, and movies start in as little as 30 seconds. You can fast-forward, rewind, and pause or watch again… for no additional fee.”

Don’t get your hopes way up just yet as Wii Netflix is just arriving this Spring after the company surveyed its subscribers regarding that service. Still, the prospect of being able to view movies and TV shows instantly on the john sounds very very exciting.

The iPad May Be Delayed: The Sky Is Falling! [RUMOR]

It took Apple some years to finally grow a pair master a tablet and show off the iPad last March, but what’s this we’re hearing the launch of the WiFi only iPads may be delayed!?

What iPad?

If you ask AllThingsD, they’re hearing news that the manufacturer of the “god machine” are having some “unspecified problems” that MAY limit distribution of the devices from 1000K estimate to just 300K!

“An unspecified production problem at the iPad’s manufacturer, Hon Hai Precision,” the analyst explains, “will likely limit the launch region to the US and the number of units available to roughly 300K in the month of March, far lower than the company’s initial estimate of 1,000K units.”

The initial production problems may in fact ALSO affect April’s predicted 800K unit launch. All together, these delays may push the release by up to a month.

Hulu iPad Coming Soon But With Subscription Pay? [Rumor]

Every TV nut knows of Hulu. It’s a website where you can watch episode of your favorite shows as well as some older movies and shows they have on archive. Today, Mashable through MediaMemo is saying Hulu iPad *maybe possible but will most likely be PAID.

hulu-alec-baldwin

You Wanna Hulu iPad?

The pay service is either supposed to help the money-losing Web site turn a profit or compensate the networks for the eyeballs and dollars Hulu is supposedly siphoning away. Or both.

If you’ve been paying close attention, Hulu has long been seeking to offer some sort of premium subscription for their service but has yet come to fruition. One possibility of premium service is to be able to open the archives of your favorite shows where as for free users, you can only watch the latest 5 or so episodes.

With the impending release of the iPad, portable Hulu will be more in demand. This will also most likely help alleviate Hulu’s plans of offering premium models.

Besides Pee-Wee, Colbert whipped one out at the Grammy’s when he delivered the “Song Of The Year” award from his iPad. He mocked the other celebrity, asking Jay-Z if he did not get one of them in his gift basket.
