**It’s my BIRTHDAY! Win a copy of Compression AND/OR Fishtropolis for FREE!**
It’s been around a year now since we first featured Tanzen from Little White Bear Studios, and Scoops from NimbleBit (then simply Ian Marsh). Today we’re with the nearing of our site anniversary, we go full circle by featuring their new games coincidentally released close to each other yet again.
Compression ($0.99; FREE) | Little White Bear Studios
This game stays true to the studios’ puzzle gaming roots by providing a cool Dr Mario like atmosphere but with far more pressure. The goal in Compression is to clear hollow centered squares to proceed to the next level. You tap the objects to rotate them, create at least a three square match and clear the blocks.

If that sounds too easy, wait ’til you see the walls move closer and closer to “compress” your gameplay board. Compression has that survival mode format in which as you long as you stay alive, new levels will be presented one after another. With OpenFeint leaderboards, this one’s loads of fun!
Fishtropolis ($1.99) | NimbleBit
We reviewed Fishtropolis not-so long lost cousin Textropolis and found it to be loads of fun. That game remains to be one of the better themed games and one of the most polished ones at that. Now the team is back with not just a reskinning of this iPhone classic word game, but new features as well.

First new feature: shake to scramble the title of letters, especially great for whenever you get stuck. Now let’s not stop anymore: four stars, progress bar, new hint system and percent completion tags. Oh! Did I forget the cool new fishes that swim around as you play? It’s like the word fish tank!
