We’ve decided to launch a bigger and more general mobile gaming site we’d like to tell you about now. We’ve decided to go off the deep end and launch TapSized.com!

The main difference is that we will be trying to take more talent in to write for us, bring in a videographer and bring in a podcast host all of which are in the works right now. Along with that, we are going to be covering Android and Windows Phone titles as well on top of iOS coverage.

With all the rumors regarding a cheaper iPhone arising, it’s good to have Apple’s view on things. Shanghai Evening News has published an interview with marketing chief Phil Schiller, while he and CEO Tim Cook are on their trip to China.

Amazon AutoRip To Offer Free Digital Version of CDs

Amazon has launched a new service, which sounds like something customers will highly appreciate. The service is called AutoRip, and offers customers who bought physical CDs on Amazon free digital copies through Amazon Cloud Player.

Even better, the service is retroactive, so CDs which have been bought since 1998 will automatically pop up in your Cloud Player, if applicable.

iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 Rumors: A6X Chip Entering Trial Production

AFP is reporting claims from the Commercial Times, which indicate that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is set to begin a trial production of the A6X chip. Is this for iPhone 5S?

The chip is not a new one, as it is already in use in the fourth-generation iPad, introduced in October.

iPhone 5S Rumors: Apple Testing New “Touch on Display” Technology

With the iPhone 5, Apple switched to new in-cell technology for it’s display, but it looks like it may replacing that technology as soon as the iPhone 5SThe China Times reports that Apple is researching “Touch on Display” technology to incorporate into the new touch panels on the next iPhone.

The iPhone 5 in-cell technology has been the blame for the problems with recognition of rapid diagonal swiping on the screen. For this reason, The China Times concurs that those problems, combined with slow response speed on the current touch panels, as the deciding factor behind the switch.

Gorilla Glass 3 Announced At CES 2013: Apple’s iPhone 6, iPad 5 & Other Future Devices?

CES 2013 is now ongoing, but before the event Corning announced its third iteration of its Gorilla Glass. The Kentucky-based provider mentioned that the new glass reduces scratches and increases overall strength.

iOS 7 Showing Up On Developer Logs

Too early for iOS 7? Nonsense! Or so the developer logs are saying. TheNextWeb is reporting that at least one iOS app developer has spotted references to the next iPhone and iOS 7 in their app logs. MacRumors themselves have seen iOS 7 visits in December:

Apple Isn’t Acquiring Waze Anytime Soon

Initially, TechCrunch reported that Apple was interested in purchasing social turn-by-turn navigation company: Waze. The report suggested Apple was offering about $400 million plus an additional $100 million in incentive, but that Waze was holding out.

Do Not Disturb Bug Will Fix Itself By Today January 7 2013

Some users welcomed in the new year with a bug in iOS 6, which failed to turn off the “Do Not Disturb” feature in iOS after New Year’s Eve. However, in a support article, Apple has stated that the scheduling will once again begin to work properly after January 7, 2013, without a need for an iOS update.
